01 What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites save to your browser. Some are needed to make a site work; others are used to understand how visitors use it. Under UK law (PECR), I have to ask before setting anything that isn't strictly necessary — that's what the banner on your first visit does.
02 What this site sets
Consent preference
Always on
Remembers your cookie choice so the banner doesn't reappear on every page. It only stores "granted" or "denied" — nothing else.

Google Analytics 4
Consent required
If you accept analytics, Google Analytics sets a handful of cookies to count visitors, measure how the site is used, and understand which pages are useful. If you decline, none of this fires — Google Consent Mode v2 blocks it at the source.

03 What this site does NOT use
- Advertising cookies. The site doesn't run ads and doesn't set advertising or retargeting pixels.
- Social media trackers. The X and LinkedIn icons in the footer are plain links, not embedded scripts.
- Heatmap or session-replay tools. Nothing records what you click, scroll, or type.
If that changes in the future — for example, if I start running Google Ads — this page and the banner will be updated first, and you'll be re-asked for consent.
04 Changing your mind
You can change your cookie choice at any time, in two ways:
- On this site: click "Cookie settings" in the footer (it's on every page). The banner will reopen and your choice will be saved fresh.
- In your browser: clear your cookies and site data for decor-elevate.co.uk. Next visit, the banner will reappear.
